When a computer is turned on a number of Programs start-up in the Back ground. The programs can slow down, or lag performance while starting the computer up. not all programs to need be starting at start-up, so MSCONFIG allows an individual to shut down extra programs from starting up.

* Click Start open up Start Menu, in the Search bar type MSCONFIG hit enter. A dialogue box with tabs will appear, click on the Start-up Tab; uncheck all unwanted programs to start-up at Boot.
